Grade 12 Term 3 test, paper set 2, in the format of the G.C.E. (A/L) Physics Paper II. Part A: answer all four structured questions (100 marks each). Parts B and C: answer four essay questions, two from each part (150 marks each). g = 10 N kg⁻¹ and the speed of sound in air is 340 m s⁻¹ unless stated. About half of the marks are on this term (the Doppler effect and sound intensity, refraction, total internal reflection and prisms, lenses and the eye, and thermal physics: calorimetry, kinetic theory and the first law of thermodynamics) and the rest on Terms 1 and 2. Each question has a model answer showing where the marks go.
