The 2023 G.C.E. (A/L) Biology Paper II, held in early 2024 by the Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka. Part A: answer all four structured questions on the paper itself (100 marks each). Part B: answer any four of the six essay questions (150 marks each); the last question is "write short notes on". No English-medium Paper II was available for 2023, so the English wording was taken from the questions as printed in the official English marking scheme (which reproduces every question), checked against the Sinhala-medium paper. Answers follow the official marking scheme. Part A questions are marked out of 40 points x 2.5; Part B questions out of 37 points x 4 (+2 if more than 37 points are written, maximum 150).
